I studied art at Istanbul Mimar Sinan University and I have an M.A. in Fine Arts.
I have been teaching art for 25 years to adults and children.
I very much enjoy teaching art because it is a great feeling when one enables people to achieve something that they never thought they could.
Making art with children is incredible. Children are uninhibited in expressing their thoughts and observations and art allows them to do this to the best of their ability. They are great at exploring the techniques that I teach them and often make creations that you wish you had tried before. I teach art to children and in return they teach me how to be free and more exploratory with my own art work.
My artwork covers the areas of screen printing, sculpture, light design, installation, textile design and collage.
In addition, I am a qualified art teacher working both freelance and in local schools and I use the above techniques in my work as a child counsellor.
